Teller

Position Description: Performs variety of commercial and consumer financial transactions inside bank and at drive-through window. Specific activities include receiving checks and cash for deposit; cashing checks and distributing monies; entering and recording transactions in computer system; balancing currency, coin, and checks at end of shift; accepting utility bill and loan payments; assisting with all security/safety procedures; and explaining, promoting, and selling travelers checks, saving bonds, money orders, cashier checks, and other bank products.

Position Qualifications: Previous teller and/or retail sales experience preferred. Ideal candidate will have six months to one year of experience handling all forms of transactions including currency, coin, checks, etc. and a working knowledge of debits/credits and balancing. Must have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old. Great customer service skills required.
